The harsh coastal setting on Bondi Beach in Sydney’s eastern suburbs demanded a meticulous approach to materials and design. Taking inspiration from seacraft, Tobias Partners treated the house much like a boat, accounting for the abrasive salt, sand and wind. Vitrocsa’s expansive Sliding doors frame the direct ocean views, with architectural panels that completely evaporate into cavities within the concrete walls.
