Architectural Glazing Systems
Vitrocsa is made to architects’ custom specifications not a pre-made template. This allows for maximum flexibility in designing for extremely large openings and challenging projects. With the monolithic sizes available this creates a unique opportunity for architects to design truly glazing systems resulting in beautiful structures. With Vitrocsa’s products including Vertical Sliding (Guillotine), Pivot, Turnable Corner, Invisible Tracks, Sliding Curved Panels and Screens, the options are endless.
The logic behind Vitrocsa glazing is to hide all tracks and frames within the structure of the building leaving only the glass visible and the slimmest (18mm wide) profiles. Sliding panels can also be hidden within a cavity within a wall or the floor when using vertically sliding (guillotine) doors. Another innovation is our turnable corner system which allows sliding panels to move left and right around angles in the tracks or corners.
Typical sliding doors are heavy and difficult to move at large sizes, Vitrocsa uses stainless steel ball bearings embedded within the tracks. The profile surrounding the glass acts only as a guide to slide the panels easily.
The greatest advantage, besides the slimmest frames! when designing Vitrocsa into your building is the enormous size of the movable sliding panels. Traditional doors would require multiple panels of much smaller sizes (not to mention more tracks). For example, Vitrocsa can fill a 16m wide opening with just 4 sliding glass panels. All you see is the slim 18mm profiles.
The Vitrocsa system is tested worldwide to many extreme conditions including having accreditation in Australia.
Unlimited number of tracks and panels
Vitrocsa sliding doors can accommodate an endless number of panels and tracks with all panels sliding and no need for a fixed panel as with traditional sliding doors.
As Vitrocsa has been designed down to the minimal dimensions and components only a 75mm setdown is required for our tracks. With our Invisible Track system you can continue your flooring from inside to out with only 2x 10mm gaps to allows panels to glide along the hidden tracks.
